Great news! The Malden Bridge Community Center will open its doors as a weekly community activity space every Monday starting on October 6, from 9 am – 4 pm. Residents of the surrounding communities are invited to come over to MBCC with friends, relax, socialize and play games. Coffee and snacks will be available. Free and open to the public. The Center is fully ADA compliant. Special programs will be offered on a weekly basis by area friends and neighbors. Mindful stretching will be lead by Hatha Yoga instructor Minerva Campbell who regularly teaches classes at MBCC. Board games, puzzles and books will be available for community use as well as a ping pong table and co-worker space. The center’s “Book Nook” has an excellent collection of garden  and nutrition books, among others. Free WIFI throughout the property.

The Malden Bridge Community Center was formed in 2009 as a non-profit at the former Wesley United Methodist Church, located on the point where Route 66, Albany Turnpike and Shaker Museum Road meet. MBCC offers community events and activities, as well as rental space for business and private gatherings and ceremonies. Annual memberships are available.
