The third in the 2026 series of Making Community events, The Harvest Féte, will feature produce, demonstrations, workshops, baking, prizes and more! This lively community event celebrates the creativity, resourcefulness and agricultural traditions of our region. Gardeners, farmers, bakers, makers, foragers and creative spirits are invited to enter their best produce, favorite harvest-inspired creation or most unusual homegrown achievement.

Whether you grew it, baked it, preserved it, decorated it or made it, there is a place for it at the Harvest Fête!

Five Divisions to Enter

Division 1 – My Best “Me”-Grown Produce
Bring your best homegrown vegetable, flower or fruit. All gardeners and farmers are welcome, with individual classes determined by the entries received.

Division 2 – Decorated Produce
Transform a vegetable, flower or fruit into something imaginative. Store-bought produce is welcome in this division and entries may include arts and crafts materials.

Division 3 – Biggest, Longest or Heaviest Produce
Do you have an impressively large pumpkin, an unusually long squash or another homegrown wonder? Enter your biggest, longest or heaviest vegetable, flower or fruit.

Division 4 – Comestibles
Share a preserve, beverage or baked good made with something grown, foraged or locally harvested. This is an opportunity to celebrate the flavors of the season and the many ways the harvest can be enjoyed.

Division 5 – My Best “Other” Agricultural Product
This category may include nuts, eggs, grains, fibers, artwork, crafts and other agricultural products. Entries should contain a homegrown, foraged or locally harvested element or relate in some way to traditional agricultural practices or depictions.
