As part of an ongoing commitment to transparency, community engagement and organizational stewardship, the Malden Bridge Community Center (MBCC) will hold its Annual Open Meeting on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The meeting is designed to provide an overview of MBCC’s activities over the past year. The Board of Directors will present updates on programming, facilities and operations, including efforts related to maintaining and improving the historic building, as well as the continued development of community-centered events and initiatives.

Attendees can expect an update of key improvements from the previous year, along with insight on general operations, including program planning, resources allocation and how volunteer assistance contributes to MBCC’s ability to operate as an accessible and welcoming community space.

In addition to reviewing the past year, the meeting will outline priorities and considerations for the year ahead. Topics will include programming partnerships and additional events that could strengthen MBCC’s offerings. The meeting will create space for community input and allow attendees and members to ask questions and share feedback related to the Center’s direction and role within the surrounding community.

The MBCC Annual Open Meeting also serves as an opportunity to better understand the role of the Board of Directors and the various ways individuals can contribute to MBCC’s mission. Volunteer involvement remains a key component of the organization’s success, supporting everything from event coordination to communications and fundraising.

Most of all, the meeting will reflect what the Malden Bridge Community Center is all about: a shared sense of place, purpose and participation. It’s a reminder that this historic building is not just preserved for the community – it is sustained by the community.

The meeting is open to all and reflects MBCC’s ongoing effort to remain both accessible and responsive to the needs and interests of those it serves.
